We continue to be in a time of social distancing and a ban on gatherings of large crowds. PVCS is committed to keeping our students and families safe and at the same time we are preparing for the beginning of Track 1 starting July 1, and the beginning of Track 2, which includes the return of our K-8 students, starting August 18th. The school is planning to continue with Distance Learning starting July 1. Our hope is to start bringing small groups of students on campus sometime in July.Unfortunately with the pace of the reopening of the county, we are going to be unable to hold the 2020 High School Graduation on August 19. The students who earned the honor to walk in the 2020 graduation will be able to join the class of 2021 and walk in the 2021 graduation ceremony.Distance Learning has worked well for some and not so well for others. Those that find this format challenging will have more support built into their school day as we begin the 20/21 school year. We plan to run virtual classes, small group tutoring, and individual tutoring. Your Supervisory Teacher is also available and can assist you, remember to reach out to this person whenever you don’t understand an assignment or just need help with your course work.Returning students should be registered and have their course assignments by the end of this week. If you do not have an appointment please contact your Supervisory Teacher or Ms. Hernandez, our Counselor. We look forward to a new school year and hope to see our students on campus in the near future. Stay safe and healthy.
