Pacific View Charter School’s campus located in Oceanside in Southern California provides an alternative educational choice for families across North San Diego County cities including Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, Carlsbad, Temecula, Encinitas, as well as all San Diego, Orange, and Imperial counties. Our Moreno Valley Campus serves the Inland Empire and Riverside County.

Pacific View Charter School (PVCS) in Oceanside is a tuition free charter school serving grades K-12. Students in San Diego, Imperial and Orange Counties have access to an independent study – homeschool educational format. PVCS uses a blended personalized learning model, combining classroom time with independent learning and distance learning options and online classes.
PVCS is equipped to meet your student’s distance learning needs. We have been in the field of distance learning since 1999. With more than 20 years of delivering online learning, we have the experience necessary to provide a quality distance learning curriculum for your student(s). We use curriculum specifically designed for online classes, with integrated assessments, and the ability to support distance learning for all levels of students. All PVCS teachers are credentialed and provide one-on-one, face-to-face instruction or video meetings and an extensive offering of online classes. Virtual Study Halls allow students to seek assistance from Lab Aides who host those Study Halls.

A home study program for students grades K through 6 with blended learning for 7th and 8th.  

High School

A personalized customizable curriculum program for students grades 9 through 12..

Year-Round Program (Including summer months)

An accelerated independent study program starting July 1 (summer) over the course of six weeks.

Distance Learning

Individual learning styles are accommodated through a personalized education experience.

  1. Take Interstate 5 North to Highway 78 East
  2. Exit El Camino Real.
  3. Turn left (North) on El Camino Real for 1.5 miles
  4. Turn right on Oceanside Blvd. for 1.2 miles.
  5. Turn left on Rancho Del Oro Dr.
  6. Take the third right (second stoplight) at Ocean Ranch Blvd.
  7. Take the first left into Venture Commerce Center.
  8. Pacific View Charter School is in the last two buildings of the complex.

From Coastal San Diego

  1. Take Interstate 5 South to Highway 76 East and travel 4.4 miles.
  2. Turn right at Rancho Del Oro Dr. for 1.5 miles.
  3. Turn left at Ocean Ranch Blvd.
  4. Take the first left into Venture Commerce Center.
  5. Pacific View Charter School is in the last two buildings of the complex.

From Inland San Diego

  1. Take Interstate 15 North to Highway 78 West.
  2. Travel 13.3 miles West on Highway 78 Exit to College Blvd. (short left on Vista Way will take you to College) Turn right on College Blvd.
  3. Turn left on Oceanside Blvd.
  4. Turn right on Rancho del Oro.
  5. Turn right on Ocean Ranch Blvd.
  6. Take the first left into Venture Commerce Center.
  7. Pacific View Charter School is in the last two buildings of the complex.

From Riverside

  1. Take Interstate 15 South to Highway 76.
  2. Turn right on Highway 76.
  3. Turn left on Rancho Del Oro Dr.
  4. Turn left on Ocean Ranch Blvd.
  5. Take the first left into Venture Commerce Center.
  6. Pacific View Charter School is in the last two buildings of the complex.
